SUNDAYS
Latimer
Who: Intermediate / Advanced / Expert riders
What: Moderately Fast paced (33+ miles / 18+ mph)
Starting point: Latimer Community Center, Latimer, MS. Take I-10 to exit 50 (Ocean Springs Exit). Go North for 3.5 miles, it will be on your right.
Time: Meet at 1:15 p.m. Depart at 1:30 p.m.
About the ride: This is a great group ride. Smooth roads, rolling hills, friendly faces. Good ride to practice your paceline etiquette.
Word of caution though, depending on the group that is there, it may be a drop ride

Pilot Gas Station
Who: Adv-Intermediate / Advanced / Expert riders
What: Moderately Fast paced (12, 26, or 38 miles / 19-22mph avg)
Starting point: during Daylight Savings Time Pilot Gas Station, I-10 Cedar Lake Exit 44
non-DST take Cedar Lake Exit, go North 6 miles, Lamey Bridge/White Plains intersection (TT start)
Time: Meet at 5:15 p.m. Depart at 5:30 p.m.
About the ride: A more challenging course. Variable road conditions, rolling hills, a couple of hills. Check the Message Board for a group that
your skill level and for different times, so don’t be afraid to jump in. This route is also a weekend favorite. Word of caution: this
can be a drop or no-drop ride, make sure you check or ask someone. The fastest ride we have. Paceline skills are a must
and drafting is the key to recovery and holding on. A good interval ride to raise lactate thresold HR/power levels.

What: Leisurely pace with occassional fun sprints (4, 10, or 18 miles)
Starting point: Varied, but usually Competition Sports, Cyclist’s Choice, or Mockingbird Cafe
Time: Meet at 6:45pm Depart 7:00pm
About the ride: The newest and most fun ride we have. Put as many lights on your bike that fit, wear your blinkies, reflectors, or glow in the dark
clothing on and have a blast. Most motorists are friendly, the people on the street wave and yell at the nuts on the bikes.

About the ride: Our oldest ride. Bring the family, bring your friends. The ride ends at The Tato-Nut Shoppe. Enjoy the most delicious donuts around. The ride goes through the streets of Ocean Springs and the Seashore National Park.
